THE TYPICAL CUISINE OF ROSOLINA AND THE PO DELTA

Biancoperla corn is grown in the Rosolina countryside and is used to cook white polenta, a typical dish of the area. Furthermore, the municipality of Rosolina is included in the typical production area of the Po Delta rice.

The traditional local cuisine enhances the flavors of the sea, with dishes based on fish and shellfish: mussels, clams, sea bass, mackerel eels are cooked on the grill or enhanced in more or less elaborate preparations.

Typical delicacies of the Po Delta are: marinated eel, sardines in sauce and granseola.

The province of Rovigo is included in the production area of Grana Padano DOP and Provolone Valpadana DOP.
